and then we fly...

this is how i've been feeling lately; i'm flying.
 [p.s. yes that's us. yes, we're adorable.]

let me rephrase that. this is how i've been feeling ever since i met the man of my dreams.

but lately, things have just been wonderful.

i love:
+waking up to a smiling husband.
+when he calls me beautiful even if i'm in my wrinkly scrubs and my hair is a mess.
+when he laughs at my silly antics.
+that he supports me in school.
+that he helps me study for school.
+that whenever i'm having a rough day, he's there to fix it.
+that i know he loves me.
+that he's mine. forever.

okay, okay i'll stop with all the sappy love-ness.  :]

so i've been listening to the radio and have come up with several conclusions.
a. all, all, ALL of taylor swift's songs are the same. hello? where's the originality here? don't get me wrong, i love jamming out to her music just as much as the next girl. but really? it's time for some spice.
b. all rap stations play the same 4 or 5 songs. umm... kay, i already know how to dougie, and i know that you want to dance dance like it's the last last night of your life life life. and... that's getting old. new songs please?
c. oldies never get old. "...A.B.C., it's easy as 1,2,3." love me some jackson five.
d. train's hey soul sister is FINALLY not playing as much. thank you radio guys for finally getting the message that not everybody wants to hear that song 15 times a day... and yet it's still my ringtone? i need to change that asap.

and those are my thoughts. sorry to whoever even reads my blog (if anyone even does...) about the super long post.

{shout out to kay}

keep it real,

random alert...

This one day, three months ago, I married my best friend. Man, life goes by fast when you're in love! :)

this is us outside the temple. we finally got our bridals back, i'll share those later! (which isn't this by the way, this is just one my sister took).
whoa parents, take it easy. yuck.

but anyway, life is grand, school is slowly taking over my life. i love the fact that i now wear scrubs to school, they're so comfy!!

and they make me smile. :) oh, and i cut my hair. i love it shorter! it feels so fresh!!

radiography program, don't kill me these next 8 brutal school months. please? thanks.

your future RT.

va va voom...

we all have them... parts of our bodies that make us feel like a million bucks. for some, it's their legs, others their toes. smiles, stomachs, eyes, and all other features can make a woman feel confident. for me, it's my eyelashes. i love my eyelashes. i love that they're long and luscious. i love that i can use ANY type of mascara and have lashes that say POW. yes, just like that picture. :]

excuse my while i brag for a while. some girls have to curl and re-curl their lashes to keep them from going board straight. thankfully i was well endowed with the curliest of lashes so all i have to do is apply mascara and wham, job done. recently, there have been so many new and improved mascaras out that will boost and volume-ize your lashes with just one swipe. for example, the new vibrating mascaras.
well ladies, i am thrilled to share that some Asian countries have developed a new way to get those long lashes without the expensive vibrating mascara. just watch...

Love, Mrs. Pear.

p.s. what's your favorite feature?

The life I now live...

Well... It's been well over a  month since I married the greatest man in the entire world. I guess it's time for a quick little update! :)

:Our wedding went incredibly well. The temple is amazing, I love it so much and the fact that I married my husband for time and all eternity makes it even better. Even after this life, we'll still be together in the eternities. How swell is that? I'm lovin' that thought right about now!

:The reception was amazing. I have so many people to thank for helping set everything up and help decorate the room! From what I remember, everything was very pretty! And the food, well, I didn't get to try it but I heard it was just so very scrumptious. How lame is that, that on my very own wedding day I didn't even get a lick of the food I picked out for it!? Haha, a bit ridiculous, but hey what can I do about it now?  Nothing.

:Our honeymoon was everything I thought it'd be plus more! We had so much fun spending time together in a little cabin up North. It was really fun just being by ourselves, finally married without the distraction of others.

:Life ever since that lovely day on June 10, 2010, has been like a dream come true! He treats me like a princess and I couldn't be more blessed with a better man. He's my best friend and I love spending time with him, we have so much fun! I especially love our date nights! Sometimes we go do the normal, non-original stuff like going to a movie, but sometimes we get creative like once we built a fort around our TV and watched a scary movie. Even though the movie turned out to be a lame one, nothing scary at all, our fort rocked.

Well, I don't want to over post you, so I'll just stop here but leave you with a picture. Our wedding shots were done by Amanda at She is amazing. And my cousin. Haha :) Here's my favorite one we've gotten so far. We only have a few that we used at the reception, I'm still patiently waiting for the other, but I guess looking at five all day long will suffice until I get more.

I love this one because of how happy we look. Correction, how happy we are. She really captured the moment well, and I love it! I'll upload more as my posts go on [that is if anyone even reads this haha].

Emotions. Sometimes they run high. Especially while planning a wedding.
It can be stressful. And sometimes I feel like using this:

But then I remember, nobody's perfect. And all the planning will be over in three days. three days.
Days, please come faster.
Love, K.

P.S. Don't stress. It's not good for you. :)

So I heard it was impossible to swallow a spoonful of cinnamon. Being the crazy person I am, me and my best friend decided to try it. Caution: do NOT try this unless you are willing to let cinnamon burn your lungs, have cinnamon attack and stick to your uvula for like 30 minutes, get cinnamon stuck in your esophagus, and want to gag and through up for about 20. But, if you want a good laugh at two incredibly smart(ha.) girls who tried it, watch the following...

hahah yeah, that really happened.

Sunday, January 3, 2010

just thought i'd post a few really random thoughts about things i love.

first: a wonderful quote. "Gaze upward, look inward, reach outward, press forward." <--- ya, just think about it for a second.

second: i love life. and the people in my life... :)

third: i love string cheese. yum. seriously though.

fourth: i love comments. if you read this, comment. really, it would make my day.

fifth: i love cuddling.

sixth: i love my family. and will miss my brother as he gets deployed on tuesday... sempre fi

seventh: i love my sister. she's pretty much my best friend. yep, just look at us.

ninth: i love this picture. and pictures in general, but specifically this one. :)

tenth: i love blogging. it's my secret passion, even though i hardly ever do it.

eleventh: i love the number eleven, and the fact that you probably didn't catch that i didn't have an eighth love, thats because i think eighth is a weird word. and if you did catch it, i love you even more. and if you scrolled back up to see that i didn't put an eighth love, you're my hero.

that's all. over and out.

p.s. what do you love??
